1. Tori Vega from Victorious
It was not until until Netflix put Victorious on Netflix earlier this year that I realized how awful Tori really was. When we were younger, I think we all looked at Tori through rose-colored glasses. She was pretty, skinny, popular, and had "style", so we idolized her.
Rewatching this show as a 19-year-old really opened my eyes. In reality, Tori Vega was entitled and made every situation about herself. she meddles in everyone's business, gets her way by whining, and always steps the spotlight. In the SECOND episode, she flirts with Beck, Jade's boyfriend. In real life, we would never be friends with someone like that! She is also the least talented singer on the show, always getting upstaged by Jade, Cat, and Andre.
2. Eric Forman from That 70s Show
From the very beginning, I despised Eric Forman, and he definitely got worse over time. It is very rare that I hate a character from the get-go, but here we are. Eric is disrespectful to all authority figures in his life for starters. I can NOT understand how he got a girl like Donna. He pulled a total 180 when after six seasons of being lazy, showing no potential, and working to strengthen his relationship with Donna, he decides to go teach kids in Africa. That was such a forced plot on the writers' parts. I could go on and on about this guy.
3. Ted Mosby from How I Met Your Mother
So there really is not too much I can say about about Ted, considering that I could not get past the fifth episode of HIMYM. I know that his whiny attitude about his life "moving too slow" since Marshall and Lily got engaged. Well Ted, maybe if you stopped complaining, then you would find someone!
4. Rachel Berry from Glee
Okay, Okay, I will admit that Rachel is extremely talented and the show's main character, which is why she got most of the solos and a more-developed storyline. However, she had the WORST attitude I have ever seen from a television character. I struggled with believing that she was the intended protagonist. Rachel was unnecessarily rude to anyone who threatened to take her spotlight. She discriminated against others and did not deserve Finn. Yeah, I said it.
5. Ross Geller from Friends
I don't think he was a horrible person, just highly problematic. I mean, FOUR divorces before the age of 40??, that takes a certain level of talent. I still cannot justify Rachel's decision to get off of the plane in the finale, leaving her dream job for Ross.
