In 2007, the TV show "Gilmore Girls" finished its complete series leaving many of its viewers upset and confused with the cliff-hanger ending. Rory left Stars Hollow to work for President Obama, while Lorleai stayed in Stars Hollow single. Many viewers felt that Lorleai should have ended the series dating Luke Danes, yet there was no firm statement that they were officially together. "Gilmore Girls" is a relatable show for many women. I started watching this show at a younger age and it taught me so much about having a strong mother/daughter relationship as well as what not to do in a romantic relationship. These life lessons shaped me as a person which is why I still watch reruns of the show today. Knowing that the show ended the way that it did does not leave me, as a viewer, satisfied.
Overall, the ending of the original series just did not leave me feeling complete. After the last episode I still had so many questions and I was just downright confused.
But then on Friday, Jan. 30, Netflix announced that there would be four, ninety minute episodes to complete the ending of the "Gilmore Girls" series: Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer.
1. Now we wait for the big release. I am just waiting, patiently, for any news or information about the upcoming season.
2. When the episodes are released my time will be revolved around watching "Gilmore Girls." I can just imagine myself preparing to watch the new shows.
3. No one should plan to talk to me during the release. All of my energy needs to be focused on "Gilmore Girls".
4. Sleep will be completely optional during the release. My excitement will take over and all I will want to do is watch the new shows.
5. Waiting for this many years has secretly been driving me crazy. Since I have been begging for this day to come since 2007, I just want to see what the answers really are supposed to be.
6. What no one realized is that "Gilmore Girls" was way more than just a show. "Gilmore Girls" is a lifestyle.
7. I wish that someone would have told us what the series was supposed to end like a long time ago. Still not knowing the answers started to make me go insane.
8. I've come up with several solutions in my head, but actual answers would be nice. The fact that it took nine years for them to decide to create ending episodes is outrageous.
9. I am still obsessed with the show though. Even after all of this time, I still love "Gilmore Girls" and I always will.
10. It's only been nine years, but we miss the "Gilmore Girls." Soon the moment we have all been waiting for will be here!
11. The day that the new season is released should be a national holiday. I know exactly what I will be doing the day of the release. Binge watching Netflix with a lot of food.
