It is a unanimous ruling that Netflix is pretty much the greatest thing since sliced bread, but if we are all being honest, we know that sometimes it affects us a little more than it should. I know I am definitely guilty of getting way to emotionally invested in any of the shows I watch, so here are some ways you can know that it is time to turn off the laptop and go outside, because you are on your way to Netflix ruining your life.
1. You woke up your roommate at 3 in the morning because you involuntarily clapped during the opening credits of "Friends."
2. You actually full-on ugly sobbed while watching "Grey's Anatomy" multiple times in one night.
3. You look up and realize you have been watching a documentary on shampoo for three hours.
4. You avoid going out so you can watch more Netflix.
5. You look up and realize you binge watched the whole series of "Freaks and Geeks" in one sitting.
6. You have pulled an all-nighter by "accident."
7. You are actually offended you have to wait six more months for the next season of "Orange Is The New Black."
8. You casually find yourself humming the "Gilmore Girls" theme song because people are staring.
9. You realized you are watching Netflix too much, so you found a workout game to play with your favorite show, instead of actually getting out of the house.
10. You use catchphrases regularly in everyday conversation.
11. You are literally emotionally distraught when you finish a show and have to start a new one.
