In my house we have a family tradition that started about 3 years ago. On Thursday nights, we all gather around the t.v.(except for my mom who heads upstairs to bed as soon as we turn the t.v. on) and we turn on one of our favorite shows; Impractical Jokers. We sit by the t.v. for hours waiting for the new episode at 10p.m. and laugh together for hours. Sure, their comedy isn't always family appropriate, but their humor and jokes keep us laughing and together, which isn't always possible in our house due to busy schedules.
Their show is based off of their hilarious humorous friendship that results in one another doing crazy challenges only for one of them to receive a punishment at the end of the show. Their punishments have gone from nipple piercings to skydiving (despite an intense fear of heights). Some are more severe than others; one of my all time favorites has to be the permanent tattoo punishment. Lets just say that the Impractical Jokers may only consist of four members, but they always have a hidden fan right by their side, and his name is Jaden Smith. If you are a die hard Impractical Jokers fan than you most likely already know all of this, however for those who don't know of the amazing friendship that exists on TRUTV, I'm here to let you in on a hidden secret. SO without further ado here are ten things that you will see if you watch Impractical Jokers!
1. Sal's Sassiness!
"IT'S MY FAVORITE" Sal is one of sassiest people in the world, and he isn't afraid to show it! He will swing his hips, snap his fingers and have you in tears in seconds.
2. Sal Falling!
Once again, you will be crying laughing, not just because of the challenge but because of the fact that Sal laughs so hard he falls, chokes, almost faints, and at times takes down one of the others with him. Sal is rarely on his feet when another is doing a challenge, so don't be surprised when he randomly goes missing during a challenge.
3. Q being extremely blunt.
No matter the situation, or what he is expected to say, you can almost guarantee that Q will be doing it. He is the most blunt of them all and will say whatever, to whomever.
4. Q's tattoo.
Even though Sal's tattoo is my favorite, Q's happens to be very relevant to his life. Well. at least it was when he was 38, lived alone and had 3 cats. Okay let's be honest its basically all true, except for the fact that Q happens to no longer be 38.
5. Murr being the scapegoat.
When it comes to any friendship, there always is a scapegoat. In this certain situation, it happens to be Murr. However despite being the scapegoat, I have to say that I am impressed with how Murr rolls with the punches, even after 20+ years of friendship!
6. Murr being compared to a ferret.
No matter which one of the boys you ask, Murr will always be compared to a ferret. If you look closely, he does actually look like one, especially while flying out of a plane screaming.
7. Joe doing whatever.
Joe is the craziest of them all when it comes to challenges. He will bust a move, put his nose on you or do whatever other crazy thing they manage to come up with. Joe also comes up with some of the craziest things for the others to do.
8. Larry.
Where is Larry? Who is Larry? What does Larry look like? these are the questions I ask myself everyday.
9. A lot of embarrassment.
Seriously, there has yet to be one episode in which I watch and don't have to close my eyes for them. They do some crazy stuff but they are still human!
10. A Life long friendship unlike any other!
Even though at times it may seem like their cant be any love between them because of what they make each other do, it truly is a friendship that has lasted longer than I've even been alive. They are my true definition of #SquadGoals, and I will always look towards this show and their friendship when I am in need of a good laugh!
