Ten Encouraging Verses for Your Week

The Bible is my foundation, it encourages me, fills me with hope and joy, and describes the way I am loved by my Heavenly Father. There are so many incredible verses in the Bible that are inspiring and all of them could be put in a list but it would go on and on. Here are some of my favorite verses that help me when I'm going through a tough time. I hope you can find some encouragement in these verses for your week.

  • “The Lord will fight for you; you need only be still.” Ephesians 14:14
  • “It is in Christ we find out who we are and what we are living for.” Ephesians 1:11
  • “So don’t worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.” Matthew 6:34
  • “I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for He is right beside me.” Psalm 16:8
  • “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, God will give you a way out. Then you will be able to deal with it.” 1 Corinthians 10:13
  • “For I know the plans I have for you”, says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11
  • “Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.” Galatians 1:10
  • “Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-5
  • “Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the Godly to slip and fall.” Psalm 55:22
  • “Seek the kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need.” Matthew 6:33
