Schools Should Have Teachers Move To Different Classrooms Instead Of Students!

One reason is when students walk to different classrooms, the hallway is crowded, overwhelming, and chaotic.

In middle school, high school, and some elementary schools, students have to walk to different classrooms while the teacher stays in the classroom. Teachers have to stand outside to make sure that students are well-behaved in the hallway. It is a ridiculous idea to have students move to different classes instead of teachers.

One reason is when students walk to different classrooms, the hallway is crowded, overwhelming, and chaotic. Students and teachers are squished. There are behavioral problems and fights in the hallway. Sometimes, students hold up other students from getting to class in time because it is too crowded. Sometimes, middle school or high school couples are kissing without noticing that everyone is waiting for them to move. Some teachers have to tell couples to stop kissing each other and go to class. Also, students might trip on one another and make other students trip as well. This will increase the chances of students winding up at the nurse’s office.

Another reason is the spread of germs. The more students, the easier for germs to spread. Right now, covid-19 is still around. It is hard for students to be six feet apart from each other in the hallway. Sometimes, when students are talking or screaming, their saliva can land on other students’ faces and hair. Teachers can get sick as well because they have to be near the crowd when monitoring the hallway.

Some foreign countries have teachers move to different classrooms instead of teachers. They experience less stress and more convenience. Schools should resort to this solution. Why do schools not resort to this solution? One reason is schools want to train students to be independent and how to arrive on time. Another reason is teachers need their own classrooms to teach their content area. The third reason is teachers need to decorate them to provide a welcoming and effective learning environment. The fourth reason is schools not having enough budget to provide materials for teachers to use in the classroom. The fifth reason is students misbehave when a teacher is not present in the classroom while they are waiting for the teacher to come.

These reasons are understandable. However, we have to consider how important thing it is to reduce the chances of problems, accidents, and the spread of sicknesses in the hallway. Schools should provide desks or shelves for students to keep their school materials while teachers move around and have access to everything they need to teach the class. Also, they should have cameras or security guards in each classroom when teachers are moving around if school administrators are concerned about students misbehaving in class. If you are a teacher, student, or school administrator, then I hope that you understand how I feel.

Pretty Little Liars

From reading the books in eighth grade to watching the television show all throughout high school, "Pretty Little Liars"basically defined my teenage existence. I was completely and totally obsessed on all accounts. However, even though I loved the fact that the books and the show are starkly different, there are simply just some ways in which the books are much better. Let's take a look:

Recently I was blessed to be a counselor at a wonderful camp, secluded in a cornfield somewhere in Virginia. I consider myself to be a seasoned camp counselor, as I have not only been a camper for most of my life but have been privileged enough to work multiple camps with all kinds of different facilities. I have worked camps with multi-thousand dollar facilities, with zip lines, rock walls, ropes courses, and boats. I have worked at camps with amazing water sports, camps with paintball, camps with canoes and paddle boats and floating blobs or trampolines in the middle of the water. I have worked at camps with in ground pools and camps without any pools, and even some camps with go-karts. I've had problem kids, kids who refuse to listen to anything I say, kids who sneak out after lights out to meet a significant other, and kids who are every camp counselors dream.

The United Nations (UN) has been in existence since June of 1945. Since then, the world has come together to work on and solve some of the harshest problems that face the Human Race. Be it children in societal ills like Human Trafficking, natural issues like Deforestation, or issues of extreme poverty, the UN has worked together in an attempt to make it a better place for us all. It's the only organization in the history of the world to bring people together in a willing, peaceful way; a feat that not even the League of Nations could do in the Post- WWI era. Why was it that one organization failed, and the other one is still going strong, 72 years later?
