Teachers need a raise. The average NFL player makes 38 times as much as the average teacher. This is ridiculous. As teachers are the ones shaping the future, NFL players are making millions of dollars a year to endorse companies and provide entertainment. Without teachers communities would not progress. Teachers are the reason doctors, lawyers, and athletes succeed. The word teacher has a broader definition than someone who teaches math. Teachers are anyone who helps you and others succeed. Parents, grandparents, families, friends, bosses, coworkers. All are teachers. But why do some professions make higher than the average teacher? They should not! You are not 100% successful without any form of education. With a higher paycheck teachers would be able to provide a better education to students by putting their entire focus on their lessons and students. They should also be more appreciated than they are. Teachers are taken forgranted and deserve more. Teachers are the heroes of our society. Give teachers a raise and let them save the world. I am sure NFL players could not have made it without a good education.
