Let’s Talk About 'I The Mighty’s' Tour With 'Pierce The Veil'
I The Mighty

I The Mighty are a progressive/indie/alternative rock band from San Francisco, California. The four-piece consists of [left to right] drummer Blake Dahlinger, guitarist Ian Pedigo, vocalist Brent Walsh and bassist Chris Hinkley.

I The Mighty are currently opening for Pierce The Veil on their headlining tour, The Misadventures Tour.

Pierce The Veil are a very well-known rock band from San Diego, California. Members consist of [left to right] drummer Mike Fuentes, vocalist Vic Fuentes, guitarist Tony Perry and bassist Jaime Preciado.

This tour in particular is an extremely anticipated and long-awaited tour, mostly because "Misadventures" is the first album Pierce The Veil have released since their 2012 album "Collide With The Sky." It’s also a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to hear "Misadventures" in its entirety. In other words, fans are starving to bite a piece off this unique experience.

It’s no surprise that I The Mighty have been chosen to serve as direct support for the band. They’ve definitely been making waves in the music scene recently. From performing on Fox’s “Good Morning Chicago” and ABC Las Vegas’s “The Morning Blend,” to taking over the Alternative Press Snapchat for the first day of The Misadventures Tour all in the past week, they’re quickly proving that they’re becoming the next big thing. They'll be playing at Riot Fest later this year in Chicago and just finished up their UK tour with Hands Like Houses before starting their tour with Pierce The Veil on June 5.

The band’s most recent album, "Connector," hit the Billboard charts when it released in June 2015. What I find unique about the album is the art series that went along with it. Members Ian, Blake, Chris and Brent had six different installments to their ‘Connector on Canvas’ art series. The paintings went from being sold out in an hour to being sold out in minutes. If that’s not impressive, I don’t know what is.

I have the opportunity to interview them about their current tour with Pierce The Veil and their recent rise in fame. It'll all go down on the New York City date of the Misadventures Tour on June 15, 2016.

Just by looking at their photos and videos from the tour so far, I can tell this is one of the craziest rides they've been on. Pierce The Veil fans are known for their outward and straightforward love/obsession for members Vic, Mike, Jaime and Tony. They're generally pretty crazy, so to have an audience like that on every night of this tour is pretty awesome for the dudes in I The Mighty. I doubt they'll get that much passion and energy from any other band, especially on a tour that people have been waiting so many years for. The bands have also never toured together before, so it's nice to have some fresh pairs of ears to introduce their music to.

Speaking of introducing music, here’s I The Mighty’s music video for their song “Slow Dancing Forever” off their most recent album. If you're not one to get emotional, it'll still hit you pretty hard. It's beautiful.

Long story short: I The Mighty are taking the music scene by storm. They’re gaining fans faster than you think, and their music is seriously irresistible. Listen to their music and catch them on their current tour while you can - you won’t regret it!

Make sure to check back soon for my interview with them. It’s something you won’t want to miss.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.
