Life is full of moments, little seconds thrust upon us, whether we like it or not. Life will come at you, guns-a-blazing, and you have to decide for yourself if you're going to live your life or stay where you are comfortable.
Take the chance to do the impossible. If you work hard, you can achieve anything you can dream of. If you want to work at Disney, look into the Disney College Program. If you want to become a chef, watch cooking shows everyday, master the art, and find a job bussing tables at Applebee's until you can work your way up.
Life is full of opportunity. I like to think that opportunity comes everyday and you have the option to do so. If you decide to eat out, you have the opportunity of finding a new restaurant, meeting the waiter/waitress and having some good old conversations with friends. If you decided to stay home, you might find a new TV show to binge watch on Netflix and post about on Facebook.
"Everything happens for a reason." I like to believe that life has certain moments in you're meant to hit (marriage, family, buying your first house, etc.) but it's up to us to decide when in life we choose to do so. Meanwhile we can be as spontaneous as we want, until we decide we're ready to settle down.
But be careful who you're around. Surround yourself with people that you know will be there for you in a "ride or die" situation. Yes, I know it's hard to judge character, but when you really get to know someone, it should be instinctual if you want them in your squad. If they add nothing beneficial to your life and become more of a parasite and annoyance to you and your friends, it's okay to cut them off. You don't need that negativity in your life.
Milestone opportunities usually come in the form of romance and often we're faced with the utter question: "Should I go through with this?" Deciding who to date is a big decision, and you should only decide when you're ready. It's important to date someone who will always be a support system and is okay with you and your quirks. The feeling of assurance and commitment should be equal between you two. If you like them, but they don't like you, you're not ready to have a relationship built on honesty and affection.
But remember life is full of possibilities, chapters, and hidden features. Always remember to have the bloopers and gags before you make it to the final movie.
