Social media is a huge part of our culture and by default, a huge part in our relationships. Social media is the best for keeping up with friends and cute animal videos but for relationships it causes so many problems. There are some things people shouldn't do when in a relationship and on social media. Here are some of them:

1. Liking photos and friending tons of guys/girls.

Okay, so if you know the person and you like their photo of them with their dog, then we are cool. If you go around liking bikini clad photos or sexual statuses then you need to stop. It only will upset your S.O. and honestly, it is not worth it. You can look and appreciate without using that thumbs up. Also don't add tons of girls or guys that seem thirsty AF. Just ignore the request. Those people are there for attention or to cause trouble in your relationship. Don't let them.

2. Stalking an ex when your S.O. is next to you.

Almost all of us are guilty of stalking our ex or someone we think is hot at some point, but wait until you are at work on break or something. If you do it with your partner so close then you're asking for trouble. And you deserve a bit of hell because dude that isn't cool.

3. Messaging people of the opposite sex you don't know.

When I see my man typing away on his phone, I offhandedly ask who he is messaging and he'll say, "Oh, a friend from WoW" or "my friend XYZ." This is non-guilty behavior. But when you ask your S.O. who are you talking to and they get all vague and shady, we know something is up. Don't message other people because that is just shitty. Even if it is "innocent" or "flirty" but "not cheating" messages. It's breaking trust and respect. If someone messages you, hit that lovely ignore button.

4. Commenting wink-y faces or hearts or something flirty.

Why? Wy do this? I have so many friends that say their boyfriends do this to them but that they "didn't mean anything by it" and it "isn't what it looks like." If it isn't what it looks like, why ere you trying to hide it and why were you doing it in the first place? Just stay away from doing anything that can be seen as flirting.

5. Stalking your S.O. and asking them about every move.

Okay, so this is for ya'll that watch your S.O. who doesn't do this but gets accused anyways. Don't stalk your man and accuse him of cheating or looking at other girls. You shouldn't have to monitor their accounts and if you do then you don't trust them (whether you have a reason or not) and should end that relationship. Without trust, especially on something stupid like social media) then you have nothing anyways.

Also if your boyfriend/girlfriend does any of the above and it bothers you, just tell them. Maybe they don't know it's upsetting you and if you tell them, they may stop. But if they keep doing it, then dump their ass and find someone who respects you. My ex did this and I was completely right in my suspicions. Don't doubt your instincts. Just try to talk it out first.

Thank goodness that my boyfriend doesn't have social media. Good luck ya'll.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
