Release the fear and be enveloped in the trust that the map our Love holds before Him is intricate and detailed and unknown, but we trust anyway. We trust that our hand isn’t steady enough to draw the map, to craft the design.

The first step is to surrender your heart, and then everything else will be soon to follow. To surrender is not a sign of defeat; surrendering is not an act of giving up, but rather, it is an act of courage. To surrender, to ask for help, to give yourself away to the natural inclination of the comfort of our sweet God, is an act of fortitude.
