There comes a ton of those "hard-to-answer/ leave-me-alone/ I-don't-want-to-speak-of-this" type of questions during the thanksgiving holidays. Whether it's grandma asking if you have a boyfriend, or the random stranger who asks you if you have a good job or your plans in your future career life (when you don't know what's going to happen) here are some common questions to prepare you for that holiday small talk. Stay strong as you get interrogated by the ones you love this holiday season, just smile if anything (even if you have to grind your teeth).
1. How are you doing in classes?
These academics are wearing me out.
2. When are finals?
Too soon... way too soon. Where did the semester go? What did I do this semester?
3. What do you want to do with your degree?
I have time to still figure this out.. right?
4. How much is tuition?
*relies on finding money in the couch for snacks
5. Do you really need fourths on the food?
Yes, of course I do.
6. Do you have a boyfriend?
lol gma lol
7. Why not?
see image from #6. It's me.
8. Have you had any internships yet?
*sending in all those applications like..
9. Do you miss home at all?
DUDE MY MOM'S COOKING> EASY MAC AND GETTING FAT
But I'm actually getting better at cooking... I've cooked salmon, I think I leveled up or something
ALRIGHTY FOLKS- hope all of you take these questions with ease and with patience- sending all of you a wonderful thanksgiving.
Peace-
