1. Coffee
This is my personal go to! I think half of my meal plan goes towards iced coffee. Whether you need the caffeine to get you going in the morning, or just a little boost halfway through the day, coffee will ALWAYS have your back!
2. Sleep
This is something we tend to ignore in college. We think “oh I’ll give up these few extra hours of sleep. No big deal” then highly regret it the next morning..or whenever it finally decides to catch up with us. MAKE SURE YOU ARE GETTING ENOUGH SLEEP, or your whole day could be thrown off!
3. Dance sessions with roommate
After about an hour of studying, a random breakout of dancing/singing with my roommate is almost guaranteed (I feel bad for anyone walking past our room at the time). It is so helpful to have a few minutes of letting it all out, then being able to sit back down and focus.
4. Find a good place to study
Make sure you find a GREAT place to study. I have found that a certain corner of the library is where I’m most efficient…might sound weird but I believe it’s all about the atmosphere.
5. FOOD
Studying requires energy and comfort therefor I believe it is a requirement to make multiple trips to the closest food source while studying
6. Comfy clothes
No one wants to sit at the library in an uncomfortable skirt or dress so always pick your comfiest clothes! Who cares whether you look good or not, everyone understands!
7. A good playlist/Netflix show
When you aren’t deep in the books, you need a way to relax. Find a great show on Netflix or a solid playlist that allows you to take your mind off your schoolwork for a little while!
8. REWARD YOURSELF AT THE END
YOU MADE IT! This is the most important one! You survived the crazy week, now you deserve a trip to your favorite ice cream shop, the movies, or a mini shopping spree! Let loose and have some fun!
