When You Support Trump, You Support Hate

If you support Donald Trump, you are supporting his hateful views such as racism and sexism.

Every time someone brings up the fact that Trump is a racist and sexist person, his supporters will instantly try to justify themselves by saying, "But I'm not racist or sexist or anything like that!". You may not think you aren't, but supporting and voting for a person who is hateful makes you hateful as well.

Putting a person into office that has been proved, by audiotape, to have made extremely sexist comments and has sexually assaulted women, makes you okay with sexism and sexual harassment. Donald has been accused of sexual assault 19 times, yes, NINETEEN, since 1980. Donald has also proudly admitted to attempting to have sex with a married women, and failing. Everyone knows about the statement Donald himself said, "I better use some Tic Tacs just in case I start kissing her. You know, I'm automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It's like a magnet. Just kiss. I don't even wait. And when you're a star, they let you do it. You can do anything... Grab 'em by the p*ssy." He literally just straight up said that he can do whatever he wants to women because of his fame. How is a mentally stable person okay with having a president of an entire country that said such horrible things?! The fact that a person like this was elected to be the president shows that there are some serious gender inequality issues in this country. It also shows people that it is possible to sexually harass someone, and still be able to have a great life.

Donald also has a long history of racist comments, dating all the way back to the 1970s. His presidential campaign began on an argument he made stating that Mexican immigrants are "criminals and rapists". And don't forget about the 2015 Muslim ban. He referred to white supremacists as "very fine people". He also has made several racist comments about Native Americans. He referred to a Hispanic women as "Miss. Housekeeping". Oh, and remember the infamous time Donald pointed to an African American person at one of his rallies and said, "look at my African American over here!". He obviously believes that people of color and minorities are on a lower standing than white people. I am so tired of people laughing and disagreeing when I tell them that our president is racist, when there is so much evidence that he is.

There are so many racist quotes by Donald, and if you'd like to see more, click this link: https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2018/01/15/opi...

It's terrible for a normal civilian to be racist and sexist, but the president of a whole country is a different story. The person who represents the United States of America, the person who makes major decisions for the country, the person who children and society looks up to, is a hateful person who has beliefs of years ago. It's 2019, it's time to make racism and sexism unacceptable. I'm tired of hearing racist jokes and sexual remarks in my daily life. The president is only making it worse. Americans now think it is acceptable to be like this. Hey, if the president is racist and sexist, I guess it's okay, since he is in the highest possible political position!

If you support Donald Trump, please think about exactly what you are supporting. He doesn't even believe in global warming. That should really tell you something.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
