Two TV/Movie watching services are here to choose from, but I only have one TV/Movie watching service to click on . And this click will represent the service that will become "Winter Break's Most Used Service." Hulu, you're here because you sometimes offer some TV shows that Netflix doesn't have. You have advertisements that sometimes divert the watcher into stopping a show at times. Lastly, you also have a few new movies here and there, but is that enough? Netflix, you're here because you've been great throughout this whole time. You have an endless amount of series to watch over and over as well as movies from classic to new. Sometimes you get rid of some series/movies at the wrong time when I really want to watch them the most. Who will it be? The service that has new things to offer, but has advertisements or the service that changes what is provides, but still overall works well.
... *clicks* Netflix, you are "Winter Break's Most Used Service."
(Side note: Just for clarification, I'm not anti-Hulu. I do use it, but not as much as Netflix)
Anyways, it's winter break and I'm excited to be on break. Homework is over for a while, no alarms clocks (even though I can wake up early without one a good amount of times), and you can simply relax. Obviously it's crazy to stay inside the whole winter break (unless it's a really bad snowstorm or you really just don't like people), but there's nothing wrong in having a day or two to binge watch on Netflix. Unless you're traveling somewhere during the break, then this probably doesn't apply to you. Back to the main point. I find myself in the same predicament on winter break (actually all breaks, but this is the longest break so it's different)... to watch something I watched multiple times before or to try to get into something new. I scroll around and there are some new things available that have potential to be really great. I love the variety, but I end up choosing to watch something I've watched before, in this case Gossip Girl, Skins (UK version), or New Girl. I'm okay with that because why? I'm on break and I have all the time in the world to select anything to watch. (accurate depiction of having all the time in the world below).
You may watch the same thing over and over again like I do or you might not do that and find something new each time, but overall, Netflix pretty much sums up winter break.
