1. Excitement
This stage is self explanatory. You’re excited about the concerts and festivals, the freedom of waking whenever you please, and just long summer nights. Also, you’re excited because you can actually go to the beach and do everything you’ve been waiting to do.
2.Planning
This coincides with excitement stage because you’re so eager to take summer by the horns that you start thinking of everything you want to do. There’s a concert in July, but it’s far away so obviously you’ll make a road trip out of it. Then you’re family’s going on vacation in August so naturally, you start planning what you’re going to do there. In between then you just have to pack your days with things to do and places to see!
4. Denial
The summer that was supposed to be the best one yet is starting to wind down and you didn’t do nearly as much as you wanted to. You didn’t start scrapbooking, or bullet journaling, or paddle boarding. You basically did nothing and now you’re full of regrets.
5. Acceptance
Bring on the sweater weather because the regret was short lived! Plus, the colder it ges, the closer you are to being able to buy a peppermint mocha from Starbucks (because it’s the only thing to look forward to all year). Also, holiday movies start playing 24/7 and there’s really nothing better than that!
