10 songs that are essential for a feel-good summer

Just like everybody else, summer makes me want to roll my windows down, blast good music, and laugh like I'm in a cliche music video where everything is supersaturated, full of sunbursts, and awkward slow motion running on the beach with sparklers around a surprisingly aggressive bonfire. My music taste ranges from deep house to indie folk, dubstep to alternative rock, and lo-fi to the songs you would hear in a romantic MTV show about werewolves falling in love. Here is a list of some of my favorite songs to listen to while driving with the windows down.

Also, there will be absolutely NO countries songs on this list.

I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.
