As the school year comes to an end and summer gets nearer I can't help but get more excited about the warm weather and being home. I have also begun to make a list of all the things I hope to accomplish in my few short months home before I have to head back to school and start another year. Of course summer is about relaxing and spending time with your family and friends but it's also about spending time with all the dogs you can see! This list explains not only how I hope to spend summer but also how some dogs want to spend it too.
1. Spend long days on the beach.
Waking up first thing in the morning and rolling down to the beach and staying there until the sun starts to set is the best way to spend a day.
2. Take some surf lessons.
Of course you won't look as cool as this guy, but you can try!
3. Spend time with family and friends.
Catching up with your loved ones is the best part about breaks, and it's even better if it looks like this!
4. Eat all the food you've missed for the last couple of months.
Spending your time scrounging for food for months gets tiring and returning home to a full stocked fridge is like walking into heaven.
5. But then of course worry about that summer bod you have to maintain.
This is slightly what I look like when I workout and relate to this dog on a spiritual level.
6. Take casual rides around town and enjoy the nice weather.
There's nothing better than strolling through town to see familiar faces and even new ones while the weather is nice.
7. Go on late night ice cream trips.
There's ice cream included, need I say more?
8. Catch up on all the sleep you missed out on for so long.
I feel you, little man. Catching up on sleep is the greatest feeling especially after going on some nights with minimal or no sleep at all.
9. Try to make some of the money back that you've been aimlessly spending at school.
In order to have fun you have to make money so giving a little of your summer to work is a necessity.
10. Visit some new places you've never been.
Summer is also the best time to try new things! Plan out some trips or go see your greta aunt you haven't seen in years!
