Why Summer Is The Best Time Of Year

Since I was a little girl, summer has remained the one constants in my life and has never ceased to disappoint. Summer is filled with endless amounts of memories that will last us all a life time, but there a few things that I love in particular when it comes to the summer season. Here are a few of my favorites:

Bonfires

There is nothing better than ending your long day with a nice relaxing bonfire, telling stories, listening to music, and of course, S'MORES!

Country Music

There's something about the summertime sunshine, riding around with the windows down, blasting country music that makes life seem a little bit more complete, and the love in the lyrics feel a little more real.

Fireworks

No other time of year do the big bursts of beautiful colors in the sky accurately represent all of life's excitements.

Outside Adventures

Summer provides an endless amount of outside activities, like canoeing, playing sports, and hiking.

Friends

Summer is the time where anything and everything can be done, as long as you do it together. Friends make summer more memorable than anyone could ever ask for.

Family Vacation

For as long as I can remember, every summer has provided my family with an incredible vacation, and although they were inevitably dysfunctional at times, they were the times that years from now we will remember always.

Sunsets

Summer sunsets are what I live for. No other words necessary.

Iced Tea

Everyone has their favorite icy summer drink!

Sunshine

But, above all else, summer sunshine is what I love the most. So beautiful and bright, it makes all of life's unhappiness seem a little bit lighter.

Allow all of this summer's uncertainties to consume you; if you want to do it, do it. Do what makes you happy, and soak up all the sunshine!
