I'm going to start off by saying I literally never know what Kanye is talking about and I do not do a good job at "Keeping up with the Kardashians." I have no idea who "Yeezy" is or why two people would name their child "North West" (that just seems mean). But I decided to check out Kanye's Twitter to see what everyone is freaking out about all the time and I must say, he can be a pretty inspirational dude. So please join me on this journey through the @kanyewest Twittersphere.
There's this gem which is just truly up-lifting.
Even if it's just your mom, someone always believes in you, right?
Then there was the time he just knew the struggle was real.
I would seriously vote Kanye for president if he made it so I didn't have to pay an arm and a leg for textbooks. I really don't understand why some books that I only use for 10 weeks cost anywhere between $70-$200. Don't even get me started on the classes I buy books for only to find out that doing the reading isn't even really necessary.
And we have the time that Kanye told us what it truly means to be an "artist."
This could potentially be one of the worst things I have heard all day. I can't stop laughing to write something clever about this. I'm just happy he refrained from using the term "artiste."
Then there's the line I wish I could deliver to every one of my professors when I am late to class and still decide to show up.
I don't even know what he is referring to here, but he seems really passionate about it, which I can relate to on a spiritual level.
And this is just the truest thing I have ever read.
Started from the bottom and it could potentially still feel like you're at the bottom, just depending on how you look at the situation. The struggle is consistently real.
Even he knows we have no idea what's going on ever.
I really respect the fact that he realizes no one knows what he's talking about but he's polite enough to ask that we just kind of ride it out with him. It's like whatever is happening with Britney Spears' Instagram these days: it doesn't make sense, but you just can't click the unfollow button.
This.
Does he have this tattooed on his body somewhere, because if I could say this truthfully I totally would have this tattooed somewhere on my arm or something. Also @Kanyewest I'd love a fur.
And now I'm concerned.
I was low-key going to make a joke about how all his tweets kind of sound like cries for help, but this one just honestly seems like he needs help. #savekanye
Seriously, it just keeps getting sadder? And these were posted on Valentine's Day -- was Kim lacking in the romance department?? Drama?
But seriously, are things OK at home, Kanye?
I only ask because it's Valentine's Day still and Kanye is putting the moves on Mark Zuckerberg. Though it is really nice to know that he respects birthdays.
He almost got me to watch "Tron."
I am actually considering watching "Tron" now because he's pretty amped up about it and I feel like I'm really starting to trust Kanye based on what I've learned from his tweets. But what would this review be in Rotten Tomato terms?
And now this is happening and I'm super lost.
I have so many questions, starting with why Taylor Swift and Kanye are chatting on the phone. It's also really nice to see that Kim supports Kanye.
Then he dropped this little request.
I really want to know the significance of Monday and why no one could text him until then.
Now I just really want Kanye's phone number.
But I won't text him until Monday.
In conclusion, I realized a few things through my study of Kanye's Twitter. A) He tweets a lot. B) He is an extraordinarily confident man who knows what he wants and how he's going to get it. C) I connect with too many of his tweets on a spiritual level. Though I can't say that I listen to any of his music or watch his wife's show, I am potentially going to follow Yeezus (did I use that right?) on Twitter.
