Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders has gained a lot of attention in the media lately, and has gathered large crowds of supporters at his rallies. On October 3, Sanders visited the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center and drew over 20,000 attendees to his rally, more than President Barack Obama’s 10,000 at his Boston rally eight years ago, and the largest of any Democratic Party rally in Boston ever. Among those 20,000 were four students from Brandeis University. Here are their reactions to the event:

“Well, to be completely honest, I'm a huge Bernie supporter, so there was nothing I heard yesterday that I didn't already know; but it was truly amazing to hear his famous one-liners in person--my personal favorite being, 'If a bank is too big to fail, it is too big to exist.' I really have a lot of faith in his campaign. He's the only presidential candidate who is thriving without the help of a Super PAC, who is completely against Citizens United, and who really just cares for all the issues affecting the American middle and lower class. The top 1 percent of this country owns over 43 percent of the wealth and Bernie is the ONLY candidate who is ready to combat this issue. There is a reason over 20,000 people came out yesterday! Boston (especially college kids) love Bernie!” -- Natalia G.

“I thought that the rally had a very propagandistic, group-think effect. Even as a liberal, it was obvious to me that Sanders very evidently knew his audience and was appealing to the impressionable eager youth mindset present.” -- Anonymous

“The rally was very unique, and it was absolutely amazing to see how many people were really able to show their support to a great presidential candidate. Although I was too short to see him, Bernie Sanders did a great job in both persuading people for his causes and in giving reliable information for the people at the rally. It was simply an incredible experience.” -- Maria A.

“The Bernie Sanders rally was the first rally that I've ever attended, and I was surprised by the energy that Sanders commanded out of the audience. The voter turnout at ballots is laughable, but going to this rally and seeing all of the support that people were giving Bernie made me feel more reassured.” -- Ben Z.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
