People who have worn glasses since they were little kids know how hard it is to have glasses as well as being made fun of because of it. If you already struggles as a child, you may have even bigger problems wearing glasses as an adult. As an adult we become more dysfunctional and very unorganized (depending). But unorganized and wearing glasses just does not go along.
Here are a few struggles we all spectacle wearers understand!
1. Working out and sweating while simultaneously trying to keep your glasses on at the same time.
2. Rain and your glasses are absolute enemies. it really just makes you blinder than you already are.
3. Trying to clean your glasses with the wrong fabric, making them dirtier and your vision blurier than it already was!
4. Putting on mascara and having your eyelashes touch and glide on your spectacles.
5. When you misplace your glasses, and then have a harder time looking for them because you need them too much to function.
6. The fog that takes over your glasses when you drink tea, coffee, or just go outside while it's humid af
7. Struggling to look for your glasses at night to go to the bathroom so you don't accidentally knock things down.
8. Lying down with your glasses to watch Netflix, while this happens:
9. Always checking your prescription every year; spending so much money on it just to see your grade change 0.01(+) or (-)
10. People trying your glasses on and reminding you yet again of how blind you really are.
11. Taking off your glasses thinking you look fabulous now, when you really just look the same.
12. When your friends hold up fingers and ask how many of them they're holding smh
why don't ya just believe I'm blind K? K.
13. Regardless, glasses always gives the illusion that you're smarter, which has it's advantages ;)
