11 Struggles All Netflix Addicts Can Relate To

It's a hard habit to break.

Netflix is one of the best things that has ever been invented. If you think about paying $8 a month to watch any show or movie offered, on any device you own, you realize it is a very great investment. However, it also has been one of the worst, for me at least. When your Netflix use makes you stay up until midnight, or when you skip that assignment that "isn't due, but is highly suggested," you know it might not be the best investment. However, regardless, the use of Netflix has some very pertinent struggles.

1. What to watch

Should I continue binge-watching my favorite show, or should I take a break and start something new? Nope, I would get too confused, I can only truly focus on one story line at a time.

2. When a new show stops

You are just starting to get into a new show, and you realize, there are no more episodes left and you are just on Season 2! Why? No clue! But now you are upset because you are left with so many questions. Word to the wise, make sure the show is set to renew for another season.

3. When Netflix takes over

Do you find yourself asking people to come over and watch Netflix? Netflix and chill? Yes, you are officially addicted to Netflix, and it is hard to quit. Also, you may be giving out the wrong idea.

4. Thinking your life relates to every show you watch

Do you have a best friend? Do you think she is Christina and you are Meredith? Do you call her your person? Yes? Well you, my friend, are addicted to Netflix.

5. When people ask you to hang out

Have you ever told someone you can't hang out because you are watching Netflix? Hopefully not, but this is another sign of.. Netflix addiction.

6. Assuming friends

When you accidentally tell someone about your friend Christina, who was left at the altar. Is she really your friend? I think you may need to take a break from Netflix.

7. "Next episode playing in..."

This is the point where you should close your computer or turn off your TV and get your life in order. Realize that the Netflix binge is impossible to stop after the second episode.

8. Deciding to do something else

Good! It's a start. Finish that episode tomorrow. Hopefully, you realized this in less than three episodes.

9. Deciding to go back to Netflix

"I just need an hour break." After 15 minutes? Sure!

10. Butt pain

Do you feel the tingling feeling in your butt and legs? Get up and stop watching Netflix.

11. "Are you still watching?"

Yes Netflix, I am. Don't judge me.

Netflix can make for great background noise during your second nap of the day, or it can become a minor distraction that eventually takes over your life. You go from watching one episode, to the robot who has to click on the next episode before the 15 seconds runs out because it's just too long to wait.

Binge-watching can be addicting, but it's only natural. Happy Netflixing, my friends!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
