Gossip Girl is one of the cattiest, most drama-filled shows around, and I have to admit that I loved every second of it. The unattainable lifestyles of Serena van der Woodsen and her groupies is one of the best cures for boredom I have found on Netflix. I have one major issue with this beloved drama and his name is Chuck Bass. Chuck Bass is not a good guy, yet I have seen multiple articles and lists online which sing his praises and declare that he is the perfect representation of true love and a good man. Let's take a step back and reconsider our love of Chuck Bass.

1. In the very first episode he attempted to sexually assault Jenny Humphrey

What are the chances anyone other than Blair ever forgave him for this one?

2. He stole his best friend's girl

The beginning of Chuck and Blair was anything but romantic.

3. He sums up and justifies everything about himself with one sentence:

This is not an adequate response.

4. He hosted something called a "Lost Weekend"

Complete with booze and terrible basketball outfits.

5. Can you even count the number of years he was stringing Blair along?

I can't keep track, and yet Blair stuck with him through it all.

6. Why does he ALWAYS wear a suit?

Okay, this one is a little bit petty on my part, but come on! He's so often overdressed for the occasion!

7. He slept with Jenny in season 3

Just because he was mad at Blair. Not fair to either of the girls.

8. He bullied Dan through most of the series

9. He totally avoided Blair when he saw her in Paris in Season 4

I thought she was the love of your life?

10. He is always scheming and causing more problems for everyone else

Anytime Georgina comes back? Chuck knows about it. Is Blair's heart broken? Chuck probably did it. Is everyone fighting? Chuck was part of the cause.
