I don't know about all of you, but I am not sure where I would be today without the influences of Lorelai, Rory, and Emily Gilmore. Well, I'm sure that we would all be fine, but we would have missed out on good TV and even better advice. These three women were the stars of the show that has never gone out of style, Gilmore Girls. Gilmore Girls catered to a very specific audience, young women who were going through the same struggles as teenager Rory Gilmore and young, single, mom Lorelai Gilmore. These leading ladies paved the way for young women when it came to boy problems, high school drama, college hysteria, and most importantly mother-daughter relationships. Rory's love triangle between leading men Jess Mariano, Dean Forester, and Logan Huntzberger was not a relatable situation for most women, even though we all wish it was. However, Rory's choice to leave behind all three potential husbands to pursue her career was inspiring for fans, and cast the show in a light that was more serious that just high school boy hang-ups. Lorelai Gilmore, mother of this love struck teenager was also a very relatable character for young adults, because Lorelai was only in high school when she had Rory and therefore was relatively young throughout the show. Lorelai was simultaneously getting her life together, making up for all the years she never had the chance to find herself while also raising a daughter on her own. The Gilmore girls served as role models to young women, by showing the world that they did not need men to achieve great things, ultimately highlighting why this show is a must watch for all young women.

I am not here to just go on and on about a TV show, even though I could if I wanted to. The reason behind my sudden Gilmore Girls binge is because the Gilmore Girls revival season is on its way to our screens November 25th. What better way to ring in a day full of face stuffing and pie eating other than watching Lorelai and Rory Gilmore do the exact same thing? (If you did not already know, the two are known for their infamous binge eating habits.) In honor of this revival season, coffee shops all around the country last week decided to hand out free coffee with the famous "Luke's" diner paraphernalia all over it. For all the newbies out there, Luke Danes is a Gilmore Girls leading man who viewers have all deemed to be Lorelai's future husband. I am not going to spoil the show for all of you, so you must watch to find out what happens with the other Gilmore girl's love triangle. Ultimately, this article is to get everyone just as amped as me about what is to come on November 25th. Additionally though, my hope is this I have inspired to Netflix binge watch one of the best shows for young girls out there.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
