Since my sense of adventure has had a craving for travelling, I figured I would share with you, some of the places I want to go to the most. If I could, I would be booking tickets for all of the places right now!

1. Maine

There isn't a whole lot of outstanding attractions in Maine, but if you love rocky bay areas, Maine is a beautiful place to visit if you go for the scenery. The two places I want to go to most is Acadia National Park and Old Port Maine. It's beautiful and the breeze off the bay sounds so delightful.

2. Oregon

This one is a given. other than the gorgeous trees and mountains, the place I actually want to go to is Portland. It's self-explanatory that I am an avid coffee lover and exploring different coffee shops is something I love to do. Portland is getting close to having around 3,000 coffee shops. It's considered the 3rd most caffeinated city in the U.S.

3. Colorado

This one I feel is also self-explanatory. One of the most visited national parks is Rocky Mountain National Park. Known for the vast amounts of mountains and a really awesome network of hiking trails and wildlife. The other place I want to go to is Garden of the Gods, which is known for its absolutely massive amounts of sandstone formations.

4. Louisiana

Other than going to New Orleans for a good time and great seafood, I want to go to Louisiana to visit Jackson Square, which is home to the St. Louis Cathedral which is the oldest cathedral in the United States. Jackson Square also hosts a place for artists and street performers to showcase their works and talents.

5. Georgia

Most people wouldn't have expected to see Georgia on this list, but I love historic downtown areas and Georgia is home to one of the most eclectic and beautiful historic districts and cobblestone downtown areas. It even has a ferry ride along the Savannah River. It's also home to the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist and The Savannah College of Art and Design, which is one of the most prestigious private art schools in America.

6. Texas

This is another one that people either expect or don't expect. I personally have already been to Texas a number of times but still, I want to see more. One of the places I really want to go to is San Antonio. Mainly for their unique river walk that is actually a story beneath the city streets and offers a lot of awesome shopping and great restaurants.

7. New York

This one is definitely a given when it comes to places to visit. In my opinion, everyone has to go to New York once in their lives. I'm a huge theatre person and the one thing I really truly want to do in New York is to see a show on Broadway in New York. And do some obvious sight-seeing, of course.

8. Washington

Much like Portland Oregon, Seattle is actually the second most "caffeinated" state in the U.S. (San Francisco is the First). Exploring the different coffee shops and the gorgeously rainy city is so appealing to me. Maybe I could even go for a ferry ride.

9. Tennessee

I love music and my job of selling shoes and what better place to visit than the place that is known for music and where the headquarters of Journeys is? Nashville! I also have been to Tennessee but not to Nashville. I would also love to drive through the Smokey Mountains again. Now that was cool.

Now, if you don't mind me, I am going to go beg my mom for a road trip this summer!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
