The Stages Of Writing A Research Paper

1. The paper lurks in the distance on the syllabus as if you care


2. The teacher mentions the paper


3. The paper is assigned and the countdown begins


4. You allow yourself to forget it exists for 1/3 of the time allotted


5. You procrastinate another 1/3 of it away


6. You commence the panic


7. You actually start researching


8. You attempt writing


9. You decide to stop caring and turn in whatever verbal vomit has ended up on the page


10. You get a grade that seems suspiciously high for something you did in one night


11. ...But you're not going to complain and you know you're going to do this again
