I never thought I would have to say these words but our favorite mystery drama show, Pretty Little Liarsm is finally coming to an end. #PLLEndgame begins in April 2017. The air date is pretty far away, but the cast is down to their final week of filming. All the goodbye pictures on set posted by the cast are starting to break all of us. I have finally realized that this show is coming to an end, and I hope I speak for all of us when I say we are all experiencing different levels of grief right now.
1. Denial
This is the stage where we just can't believe PLL is coming to an end. I mean there has to be a secret season they're hiding from us or plans for a movie right?! There is no way this show is ending!
2. Anger
I know that I'm pretty mad at the directors and producers for thinking that this show ever deserves to stop airing. This show is too good and every season exceeds my expectations every time I watch it. We absolutely hate that this show is going to be over!
3. Bargaining
Most of us are ready to give up all of our belongings to keep this show on the air. We will give up so much to make sure we see the lovely faces of our liars and significant others on our screens for just a little while longer. The only issue is we know that whatever we give up just won't be enough.
4. Depression
Once we've tried everything that we could possibly think of, we just cry. We cry over all the times these girls have been stalked, kissed and almost killed. I mean how can we forget all of Ezra and Aria's ups and downs, or the time Spencer joined the A team or the time they were kidnapped and tortured like dolls! Bring out the ice cream tubs!
5. Acceptance
I don't know how someone could possibly be at this stage already, but if you are you're one of the lucky ones. We all are going to have to eventually face the fact that the show is almost over. It's had a pretty amazing run. There are still 10 more awesome episodes left and that's definitely something to look forward to. As long as we stick together like the fantastic PLL army we are, we'll make it through this together.
So how are you dealing with this heartbreaking news? If you don't want to start sobbing uncontrollably, do not go on social media for awhile.
