With Spring Awakening approaching quickly, it was only right to spread the word about the content the artist have been releasing leading up to this festival. They’ve just released the set times, the map, and the flyover video. This year will have attendees experience a festival like never before. It is not something you want to miss!

Previously, the festival was held at Soldier Field but they have recently moved it to Addams/Medill Park. By moving it to the new location, it gives festival goers more room to dance and relax throughout the duration of the festival. Spring Awakening has newly updated stage designs and more activities than previous years. Check out the flyover video of the festival grounds here .

This year's lineup features a diverse group of artists to perform at the five stages. Some of the headliners include Diplo, Martin Garrix, and Excision. The festival also invited quite a few Chicago-natives to perform which includes Louis The Child, Mielo, Porn & Chicken and much more. It’s pretty awesome that Spring Awakening has a strong focus on bringing out the Chicago-based artists.

In addition to the sets throughout the weekend, there will be several official after parties for anyone interested. Artists like Diplo, Marshmello, and Martin Garrix will be keeping the music going all night at their after party. Check out the full list of after parties here.

From my own personal experience, Spring Awakening is a festival that is unique from all others. The festival focuses on EDM and hosts almost all of the subgenres of this genre of music. The experience of the festival is what truly makes it unique. The recent switch to a new venue has made the festival even larger and created more activities for festival attendees. They have added amusement park rides and even more food vendors that include vegetarian and gluten free food.

The 3-day passes and VIP for the festival have been sold out but there are still limited single day passes available for purchase. Be sure to check the set times here. By viewing the performances on each day and the specific set times, it will give you a better idea about which day you want to attend.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
