This week, the internet got its first look look into the 'Gossip Girl' reboot when the cast appeared filming on the iconic steps of the Met. This marks the first time that fans have gotten a look into the show since the announcement of the revival in July of 2019. The reboot stars a few familiar faces like Emily Ann Lind, Eli Brown, Whitney Peak and Thomas Doherty.

The reboot is set to take place eight years after the events of the original show when a new group of Upper East Siders are introduced to Gossip Girl. While the show will be similar concept, the writers and producers have worked hard to make this series its own. Even though the details of the show remain limited, the showrunner, Joshua Safran, has teased a little bit of what fans can expect when the reboot premieres.

1. An update about some of your favorite characters.

Of course, every 'Gossip Girl' fan is dying to know whether or not we will see some of our favorite characters. Although an announcement hasn't been made on whether we will see any of them, they did promise we were hear about where our favorite characters ended up after the show ended.

2. Diversity

One aspect they are really proud of about the reboot is its diversity. Unlike within the original series, they are actively working to create a diverse cast and set of characters.

3. New storylines

One of the biggest changes from the original series to now is the changes in society and technology. These changes will be reflected in some of the storylines present on the show. It's the same Gossip Girl we know and love but there's a few more tricks up their sleeve now.

4. Nods to the original

Showrunner, Joshua Safran, explained that the show takes place in the same universe as the original Gossip Girl. So not only will we be getting an update on the original character; but, we will also see some nods to the original. Some nods to the original include the the incorporation of Constance Billard and the Met steps.

5. Kristen Bell as Gossip Girl

While the return of other characters have not been confirmed, it has been confirmed that Kristen Bell will be lending her voice to the show once again. Kristen Bell who was the original voice for Gossip Girl will be returning as the the narrator for this series.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
