"Spider-Man: Far From Home" Movie Review

There was no way to be emotionally prepared for the first Marvel movie after the rollercoaster that was "Avengers: Endgame". We knew from the trailers that not only Peter but Peter's friends, survived the snap. That way, they were all conveniently still the same age and still in school for yet another school trip.

From the minute the Marvel logo appears, this movie had me hooked. It's emotional, with Peter dealing with Tony's death and the legacy that he left behind and the pressure that Peter felt to be like him, if not better as Tony wanted.

This movie is a huge moment of growth for Peter, as he works through the loss of his role model and his father figure and him trying to move on from it.

The plot twists in this movie are iconic. They throw us for a loop and make the plot even more interesting than just an interrupted school trip. Also, it was great seeing Maria Hill and Nick Fury again with important roles, since they weren't really present in Endgame too much.

Make sure to stay for the post-credit scenes, both of them.

At least one is extremely important, but both are one of the many plot twists that this movie contains to make it even more entertaining than just another interrupted school trip. It's also nice to see Maria Hill and Nick Fury in action again since they didn't get huge roles in Endgame.

There's not much else I can say without spoiling the major events of the film, but this film is definitely worth seeing. Peter Parker, in general, is reason enough to check it out, but also his crush on MJ throughout this movie makes him even more adorable. Also, the new suits are pretty cool, too.

This movie is fantastic in terms of both character and plot development. It's fun, action-packed, kinda trippy at some points, and altogether just really entertaining. They acknowledge the effect that Endgame had on Peter and how he struggles with being a superhero and Avenger while also trying to just live his life as a teenager.

Make sure to check this movie out if you're a huge Marvel fan and if you want to be intrigued as to what happens next because one of the end credit scenes is definitely a cliff hanger that you don't want to miss!

When I was a child, I used to look forward to Memorial Day Weekend from the time I returned to school after Christmas vacation. It was the yearly benchmark announcing the end of the school year and the beginning of summer vacation. It meant I was one step closer to regattas, swim meets and tennis matches.

I remember how exciting summer was when I was a kid. I would just be eagerly waiting for school to end so that I could fly to some exotic location with my family for the summer. Or hang out with my friends every day. Or just lay around in bed or read, paint, draw, basically do whatever.
