Sorority Life: As Told By The Queens of Rupaul's Drag Race

Sorority Girls... Drag Queens... I don't see much of a difference.

You get your bid day shirt to welcome in all of the new members and sometimes, that shirt just speaks to you, as well as the rest of your chapter and you're all just like:

When you finally get to meet all of the new members at the events, a lot of them don't know who you or your sisters are and you scope out the crowd to find the new friends that you would like to absorb into your group. Who knows, maybe you will find your perfect little in the bunch:

Finally, you go through big/little reveal week. Even though you and your big have been preparing for this day for almost a year, you still have to cancel all of your plans in order to make that week the best it could be for your new little one and you just go crazy getting things ready for that one week:

But, it is all worth it in the end because you have the most perfect little that you can finally call your own. You dress her up in matching outfits and flower crowns to take all of those cute line pictures that you have been waiting to take:

First grab-a-date of the year comes around and you need a date! You get your friend to hook you up with a date and you see him and you're like:

Dressing in pin attire for chapter meetings is serious business. You try to blend together a healthy mix of your Sunday's best and Carrie Bradshaw's closet on a budget. You get the looks that tell you that you are fabulous as you walk to your seat like:

Then, next evening, it is time for your social, whatever the theme is, you are still wearing that outfit that you pull off so well:

When running your annual philanthropy, you meet and greet with other members of the Greek community. It is all so great that everyone has come out to your philanthropy! Before you go out there, your sisters give you that pep talk that will prepare you for the rest of the evening:

When somebody insults your sisterhood that doesn't even know about Greek life at all, you try not to let it bother you because you know they are wrong. Your sisters are fab, including you, Mama! :

The chapter photo shoot is one of the greatest ways that you can strengthen the sisterhood of your chapter, while still being able to show everyone how wonderful your sisters are. This is the perfect photo opportunity to try some cute experimental things with your best gal pals:

Composite pictures come around, only problem is, you figure out too late that it is TODAY, and you have two hours to make yourself presentable enough for your picture. Your roommate asks you why you are freaking out and are in such a rush to get in full makeup and the only thing you can do is look at her like:

You finally have your face on for your pictures and you warm up your face muscles to get rid of your resting b*tch face:

All is worth it when your composite turns out exactly the way you wanted it to:

Through all the crazy times and the classy times, your time in Greek life will teach you a lot. You gain a new respect for yourself and others around you because:

Can I get an Amen, Mama!?

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
