Sophomore year was a wild ride full of ups and downs. As my sophomore year comes to an end, my constant binge watching of my favorite show, The Office, has also, sadly, come to an end. Here are some moments that I have experienced throughout the year that are just brought to life better by The Office.
1. You're no longer a freshman
There is no feeling better than no longer being a freshman. You're way tougher now, have gained more respect and have a way bigger say in everything that has to do with anything.2. Classes are harder than they were last year
You're starting to get into classes that pertain to your major and are probably trying to knock some upper-division gen eds out of the way while you're at it. If you thought freshman year was hard, just wait.
3. The stress of everything
Besides your harder classes, you probably are involved with other things on campus, too. Trying to balance all of it can be tough and make you feel like you actually might die.
4. When you're not doing so hot
Suddenly you remember that time Nellie literally walked in and convinced everyone she was the office manager just by basically sitting at the desk and bribing everyone. Maybe you can actually just talk your way into passing...5. But you realize your professors just don't see your true potential
You'll show them one day...6. Relationships or whatever you want to call it
On top of everything there is always going to be the distractions and drama of relationships or maybe even some one night stands. It's college, it's inevitable and just something you have to deal with. It can get messy, but just keep it real.
7. Finding your best friends
Sophomore year is when you really start seeing who your real friends are and who is going to stick by your side. They're the people who are going to be in your wedding AND the people you can boom roast. What more could you ask for?
8. Finals approaching
9. And you want to be anywhere but here
Need I say more?
10. SUMMER IS HERE
It's such a bittersweet time because school is over, but you also have to leave your best friends who you've been with everyday for 2 semesters.Sophomore year teaches you a lot more than just in your classes. It's been a good time, but it's definitely time for summer to do its thing. Before we know it, junior year will be here with a whole new experience.
