I'm just going to come right out and say it. I LOVE 80s music. Honestly, I like it more than most of today's pop music. There's something about the lyrics and the beat of the 80s music that really resonates with me. It's not for everyone, and there are some songs/bands/singers from that era that I make me question what the music industry was thinking, but 80s music speaks to my soul on a level most modern pop music can't. For this reason, I wanted to share some of my favorite songs from the 80s. The following list is anything but exhaustive, but it's a start either for those looking to expand their playlist or for first timers who are just getting their feet wet with the incredible music of the 80s.
