Music is everything to me and to a lot of other people. Here is a playlist I've compiled of all my favorite songs I've been loving this month.

1. Holiday - Green Day

This one fits since we are in the holiday season currently. Green Day is an amazing band that is so underrated. I love jamming out to Green Day either in the car or in my dorm room when I'm studying. Try this song while you're studying! It will make you feel less sad about finals and more happy about winter break!

2. Sleep on the Floor - The Lumineers

This song is about young love and running away together. It sends a very true message when it says, "cause if we don't leave this town, we might never make it out." In the song, a boy and a girl run away together to travel the world. They crash at hotels and friends house's not knowing where they will go next. At the end of the song, they end up getting married. This song is so extremely beautiful with a great message. I love listening to this one when I'm going to sleep. It's so calming and soothing.

3. Like Real People Do - Hozier

This is another slow one, but so good at the same time. I have been into the Lumineers station on Pandora lately. I love listening to this one when I fall asleep as well. This song is also about love. It has beautiful back up singing and a gorgeous piano part.

4. Just like Honey- The Jesus and Mary Chain

I found this song on American Horror Story, Hotel. I heard it in a scene and I really like it! I used an app and found this beauty. This song is really nice for listening to in the car and just singing along to it. It has a great beat to it as well. Give it a listen!

5. Next Year (RAC Remix)- Two Door Cinema Club

This song is an amazing car song to sing along to. In the song they sing about seeing someone from your past and telling them you'll be home next year. The song goes along with the thought of change. When we grow up, we change so much. They sing about how maybe someday they'll see you and you'll be talking to them as if they knew you. The point of the song is that they don't know you anymore, because you've changed and grown as a person since seeing them. I always imagine this song would be playing when I like ran into a ex at the grocery store.

6. Cleopatra- The Lumineers

This song is yet another Lumineers song. Their newest album is actually called Cleopatra. This song talks about how they didn't take the chance to go for the girl of their dreams, and now they are going to die alone. It sounds sad, but it is actually a really beautiful song. The beat is amazing. I'm in love with the lead singer's voice. It is so different and very distinct.

7. Never Been Like You Feat. Kai- Flume

This song has a great beat and is another good car song to jam out to. It has a touch of techno/ dubstep. This one is about losing a significant other and saying that you want them back. It says, "I made a mistake, please just look me in my face, tell me everything's ok." It is very emotional song while also carrying a great upbeat beat.

8. September-Earth, Wind, and Fire

I've been listening to this one since September. Ok, I'm slightly biased towards fall because my birthday is literally the first day of fall, but i'm in love with fall. everything about it makes me want to take cute pictures with my friends, and cuddle up in a cute scarf and hat with hot chocolate. this song completely encapsulates my feelings towards fall. I can't help but dance when it comes on. it is also a feel good song, and i just love those. Not to mention, it is in the end of the movie, Night at the Museum, which is a feel good movie as well. Everything about this song is amazing.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
