It's that time of year once again. Summer is over and classes are about to begin. We all know that the hardest part about classes is inevitably waking up and actually getting your day started. However, the perfect song can change that morning, bleary-eyed dread. Here are just a few songs that need to be on your current morning motivation playlist- everything from songs that make you want to get up and dance to starting your daily routine of singing in the shower:

“Closer” by The Chainsmokers featuring Halsey

As if The Chainsmokers haven't already had a record summer, they teamed up with Halsey for this song. It is a great song to sing in the shower or to belt out in your car.


"Cold Water" by Major Lazer featuring Justin Bieber and MÆ

This new release is everything. Love or hate the Biebs, no one can deny that this song is amazing.


"Too Good" by Drake featuring Rihanna

Since the release of 'Views,' Drake has been everywhere. His songs have been all over every music streaming platform, and you know there's a reason when you listen to this song.


"CAN'T STOP THE FEELING!" by Justin Timberlake

I think I am among the large group of people who thought Justin Timberlake would never come back from his hiatus. This song definitely was worth the wait and the perfect song to get your day started.


"HandClap" by Fitz and the Tantrums

This song is the perfect song to set as your new alarm ringtone. It is the perfect alternative anthem for the summer.

"Cheap Thrills" by Sia featuring Sean Paul

You know this is truly the perfect summer song when Snapchat makes a Sia filter.


"No Money" by Galantis

This song features not only a great vibe, but also just makes you want to dance.


"This Is What You Came For" by Calvin Harris featuring Rihanna

I feel like every song Rihanna that has anything do with this summer is just pure gold, and this is no exception.


"One Dance" by Drake featuring WizKid and Kyla

Not only does this song make you want to break out some hip rolls, but it's the perfect song to get yourself amped for Drake's concerts in Atlanta this week.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
