6 Songs Our Society Needs To Listen To

"Music expresses that which cannot be said on which it is impossible to be silent." Lately, our world has become a place filled with chaos. Anger has overpowered intelligence and our society has become obsessed with the idea of fighting hate with hate. The world is not always fair, but two wrongs do not make a right. Acting out against violence with violence is a double negative, which ends in negative results. I think it's time we look back on some songs that have spoken out about the corruption of the world in an eloquent and beautiful way. These artists knew that something must be said about inequality and the wrongness of the world, but they also knew that speaking out must be done in an enlightening way rather than speaking out through anger and violence.

1. "Where is The Love?" - The Black Eyed Peas

2. "Dear Mr. President" - Pink

3. "One love" - Bob Marley

4. "Changes" - Tupac

5. "Imagine" - John Lennon

6. "I get out" -Lauryn Hill

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
