I'm back on my love song bullshoot (got to keep it PG, fam) with a whole new list, just days before the special (*cough* depressing *cough*) holiday. I, like many in the world, am a fond lover of Rom-Coms, so I've compiled a neat & tidy list of the perfect songs to narrate your own real-life Rom-Com. Notice, I said yours, because it just ain't happening for me this year so far, dawg. It's my basic list rules so no repeat artists, and I kept it mostly current within the last year or so (with some exceptions), with these random but lovable tunes. Enjoy!

"Fire On Fire"- Sam Smith

Perfect for: This song gives me mega forbidden love, Romeo & Juliet, young Leonardo DiCaprio vibes with all the lyrics about others being against the relationship despite how passionately in love they are.

Best Lyric:

"They say we're out of control and some say we're sinners

But don't let them ruin our beautiful rhythms."

"All I Am"- Jess Glynne

Perfect for: This is for when you and your crush's feelings actually align, and you're in a beautiful relationship, where you both feel the same way, which nowadays seems to happen once in every blue moon or something.

Best Lyric: "Every butterfly I get belongs to you."

"Always Remember Us This Way"- Lady Gaga

Perfect for: That couple who's literally #relationshipgoals and has lived an adventurous life together full of love.

Best Lyric: "That Arizona sky burning in your eyes

You look at me, and babe, I wanna catch on fire."

"Born To Be Yours"- Kygo, Imagine Dragons

Perfect for: This is very much for when your relationship seems fated like soulmates.

Best Lyric: "Are you the only one

Lost in the millions?

Or are you my grain of sand

That's blowing in the wind?"

"Colour"- MNEK, Hailee Steinfeld

Perfect for: When your relationship brings you out of a slump or encourages you to grow as a person.

Best Lyric: "Everything is brighter 'cause the limit is the sky

Baby, that's the way you make me feel."

"I Only Want To Be With You"- LYRA (originally Dusty Springfield)

Perfect for: This is the song that's gonna play after you have your real-life meet cute and can't stop thinking of that new, special person.

Best Lyric: "'Cause you started something, can't you see

That ever since we met you've had a hold on me."

"Paper Rings"- Taylor Swift

Perfect for: This gives me rich/poor love story vibes- cue young Leo again.

Best Lyric: "I like shiny things, but I would marry you with paper rings."

"Put Me Back Together"- Caitlyn Smith

Perfect for: That person who makes you feel better when life gets rough or you feel upset, this is for them.

Best Lyric: "Ain't never met nobody

Who see the stars the way you do."

"Timebomb"- WALK THE MOON

Perfect for: The excitement of this song captures that same feeling of a new relationship.

Best Lyric: "But when your heart opens it's like I'm ready to fall again."

"Before You Go"- Lewis Capaldi

Perfect for: Picture that stereotypical scene in every rom-com when the couple breaks up dramatically, but there's still a lot of love there.

Best Lyric: "Was there something I could've said to make your heart beat better?

If only I'd have known you had a storm to weather."

"New Obsession"- FRANKIE

Best Lyric: "But ever since Cupid walk past

He hit me once like a heart attack

So fast and I couldn't just let you go."

Best Lyric: "Yeah, life sure can try to put love through it, but

We built it right, so nothing's ever gonna move it."

"Maybe, I'm Afraid"- lovelytheband

Best Lyric: "Maybe all we are is fools with hearts that tried too hard

And maybe that's just fine as long as you're here in my arms."

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
