10 Songs And Artists That Don't Get Enough Credit

Finding new songs and artists to listen to is one of my favorite past times. I just love scrolling through Spotify looking at all the new released and songs recommended for me. I've found a lot of artist's that I've never heard of or probably never would have if it wasn't for Spotify. I'm really into Alternative/Pop/Dance music.

Here's a list of songs that are perfect but not widely known.

1. "I'll Follow" by Fancy Cars and Svrcina.

This one is the newest song that I've found and absolutely love. I've had this song of repeat for days now.

2. "Sister" by Haux.

This song is actually really sad but absolutely beautifully written, and he has an amazing voice that's smooth as silk.

3. "Jealous" by Fjord.

This song has amazing lyrics and that's the main thing that attracted me to it.

4. "love you with the lights on" by morgxn.

Not only does this song have amazing lyrics but it has a sick beat that you can chill to or even dance to.

5. "Drive" by Glades.

Just go listen to this song. You won't regret it, it's perfect.

6. "Lit" by Happy Sometimes.

It was literally by chance that I discovered this artist, she's virtually a nobody but shows great promise and I can't wait to hear more in the future.

7. "rock + roll" by EDEN.

This artist has yet to release a song I don't like. Everything is just on point. This has to be one of my favorite songs for sure.

8. "Second Nature" by Stalking Gia.

This is the kind of song that you can't help but get stuck in your head.

9. "I Want to Love You" by Lenachka.

This is the kind of song that touches your soul and forever changes you for the better. It's absolutely breathtaking.

10. "Dynasty" by MIIA.

This is another song I've had on repeat for days now.

I hope from reading this article you find a new favorite song/artist. I love talking about music with people because it's a look into who they are and what they feel. These songs are a look into my soul, so listen with caution.

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Daydreaming

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.
