A Song For My Future Little (To The Tune Of Meghan Trainor's 'Dear Future Husband')
Syracuse

Dear Future Little,

You're not even mine yet, but I'm already counting down the days until I can officially welcome you to the family. I can't wait to show you off and make you take 101 photos while you begrudge and moan because you just wanna pregame. Honestly, I could go on and on in a sappy novel about how excited I am for you, but I'm not gonna do that; instead, I'm gonna write you a song...yep, I'm that type of Big. Good luck kid, I hope you know what you're in for.

"Dear Future Little"

(To the tune of "Dear Future Husband" by Meghan Trainor.)

Dear future Little

Here's a few things

You'll need to know if you wanna be

My perfect Little all my life.

I'll take you on date.

You deserve it, babe.

And don't forget about the tuck-ins coming your way.

Cause I'm gonna treat you right.

I'll be the perfect Big

Buying costume things.

Buy-buying what you need.

You got that nine to five

And, baby, so do I.

So don't worry cause g-Big and I will always be making time.

I don't know how to craft.

So we'll have tons of laughs.

Drink along with me.

Drink-drink along with me.

You're gonna know how to be a DPhiE lady.

Even if our fam might be crazy.

With us everything's gonna be alright.

Dear future Little,

Here's a few things you'll need to know if

you wanna be

My perfect Little all my life.

Dear future Little,

If you ever need that family loving

Trust me we'll be here each and every night.

After our first night

Don't apologize

Cause trust me I too was once quite a sight.

You'll never do no wrong.

(Laugh) You're my Little you're never wrong.

No one can compete.

No, no one can compete.

You're gonna know how to be a DPhiE lady.

Even if our fam might be crazy.

With us everything's gonna be alright.

Dear future Little,

Here's a few things you'll need to know if

you wanna be

My perfect Little all my life.

Dear future Little,

Make time for me

To take a million selfies

And show you off to the world, proud to call you mine.

We'll be dancing on the dirty frat platforms (hey).

Find me the toilet paper and you might get some Kimmel.

Always have an open mind.

And show up to parties on time.

I'll find you a date.

Find-find you a date (babe).

You're gonna know how to be a DPhiE lady.

Even if our fam might be crazy.

With us everything's gonna be alright.

Dear future Little,

Here's a few things you'll need to know if

you wanna be

My perfect Little all my life.

Dear future Little,

If you ever need that family loving

Trust me I'll be here each and every night.

(That's right!)

Oh-woah.

Future Little, I'm gonna love you right.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
