I've realized that sometimes people don't want to be saved. Maybe it's because they're waiting, or maybe it's because they just don't have the power to let someone save them. They believe that they can pick themselves off their feet, or they see a hand... and they don't reach for it. I've met those people. I've seen it with my own eyes. It's taken me so long to realize... you cannot save someone who doesn't want to be saved. You can try... you can give your all... but it's up to them. It's their decision to take your hand, and it's their decision to be helped. It may be hard, but let go of that feeling like you never did enough. You tried. You are just enough... but it's up to them to see that. So, if they lose you, they lost someone who was always there. They lost someone who was willing to give everything. The only thing you lost... was someone who never saw you. So, for yourself, move on. Holding on to something can hurt more than letting go. You're not a bad person for walking away from something that never wanted you in the first place.

Sometimes, people in this world, push you away because they know you are the answer. So, don't feel like you weren't. They just chose the wrong answer.

Always be there, but know when to walk away. Always.
