My religion has always been a major factor in my life. Of course I may not always show it, but nobody's perfect and God still loves us. We are all His children in His eyes and He loves us all equally. The Bible is a collection of sacred texts in the Christianity religion. It is the account of God's action in the world and his purpose with all creation. It's the story of God's life and his impact upon others around him, but it's so much more than that in content. If you take the time to sit down, either by yourself or in a study group, you can learn so much about the Christian religion and it's lifestyle. In this article, in no particular order, I'm going to share some of my favorite bible verses throughout the entire book.

1.) "A peaceful heart leads to a healthy body." -Proverbs 14:30

2.) "Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill His promises to her." -Luke 1:45

3.) "God is within her, she will not fall: God will help her at break of day." -Psalm 46:5

4.) "When I am afraid, I will trust in You." -Psalm 56:3

5.) "Where God guides, He provides." -Isaiah 58:11

6.) "My grace is all you need." -2 Corinthians 12:9

7.) "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding." -Proverbs 3:5

8.) "The grass withers and the flowers fade, but the word of the Lord stands forever." -Isaiah 40:8

9.) "You are complete in Him." -Colossians 2:10

10.) "But the Lord stood with me and gave me strength." -2 Timothy 4:17

11.) "The Lord will fight for you; you need only be still." -Exodus 14:14

12.) "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." -Philippians 4:13

13.) "I will not cause pain without allowing something new to be born." -Isaiah 66:9

14.) "With God all things are possible." -Matthew 19:26

15.) "She is clothed with strength and dignity and she laughs without fear of the future. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue" -Proverbs 31:25-26

16.) "There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, not is there male of female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus." -Galatians 3:28

17.) "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction." -Proverbs 1:7

18.) "When, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?" -Romans 8:31

19.) "Mightier than the thunder of the great waters, mightier than the breakers of the sea- the Lord on high is mighty." -Psalm 93:4

20.) "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." -Romans 12:2

These are just some of my absolute favorite verses throughout the Bible, but of course there is more. You can always turn to the Holy Word with anything you need in life. Whether you're having a really bad day, a really good day, or you just seek help and don't think anybody can help you, turn to the Bible. There are always scriptures that can help or motivate you. Seek help in prayer and patience, you'll always find an answer. There are many benefits to reading the Bible including awakening and strengthening your faith and regaining hope in life. The scriptures are a firm foundation that never change, but it is a description on the state of my heart and the many life circumstances that I bring to the throne of God's grace.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
