I don't care where your loyalties lie, this election season was brutal, and the after effects of this election has left most of the country emotionally and physically exhausted. From the countless scandals, the claims to sexual assault, and for the love of all every god that has, does and will exist if I hear the word e-mail one more time....

Regardless, can we all just come to the consensus that this election just sucked? Neither side really supported their candidate and it became a matter of "voting your conscience" - whatever that may mean to you.

I'm not trying to change any opinions. No amount of arguing and yelling will. The only thing we can do is agree on some common ground - which I will present to you in the most fun way possible.

Let's try and stay positive!

Huffington Post shared an article of dogs with "I voted" stickers on them

That dog is safeguarding life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

And hundreds of people waited hours to put those on Susan B. Anthony's gravestone thanking her for her fight for women's suffrage

And you know what? While we're at it, all baby animals are still cute

And the amount of women of color in senate quadrupled

And lest we forget that a "That's So Raven" reboot/sequel is in the making

The Griswolds (in conjunction with The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon) released their album two days early on SoundCloud

And all this Griswolds talk is reminding me of Christmas... which is pretty soon

Which means Victoria's Secret already released their Christmas-themed panties

And you know what? Hanukkah is even sooner than Christmas

Stefan makes it seem like the Menorah won't be the only thing that's lit.

And Thanksgiving is even sooner

And is there, like, anything some pumpkin pie can't fix?

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
