"I Get Out " Lauryn Hill

Social Bondage

As the Queen so eloquently put ...I just want out of social bondage. As I get older and meet more and more people. As I build a greater conscience of how this world is built and how humans naturally and unnaturally interact. I feel myself more and more searching for a greater meaning to my life.

I want to be a woman of substance , I want to be a human who made a difference. The only song Beyoncé ever sang that I actually loved "I was Here". The idea of using your body to make a difference in this world is what I am currently obsessed with!

I want you guys to dig deep within yourselves, life is not about the amount of likes we receive on a selfie, it is not about how many people invite us to their birthday parties. It's not about how many boys find us "cute". It ain't about Money or possessions, we are made to think that it is. But why are millionaires still miserable. They lack SUBSTANCE. I want to encourage you guys to find what it is you are truly passionate about. Find who you are truly passionate about.

Life is about being a vessel of change a vessel of inspiration, a vessel of love, a vessel of self expression. We are here only for a small period of time ; take this time to worship your Lord , do what makes you happy, live freely but with purpose !

Society has this way of distracting us from what is truly important. Family, friends and experiences have so much value. This is hidden by society's facade of making us feel good with fake appreciation and hype.

you guys use what makes you different as your super powers !

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

An open letter to the good-hearted people.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
