Technology has continued to evolve over the years, with generations and generations of revolutionary applications being invented one after the other. Particularly, the mobile telephone has completely changed the way people do a variety of things. Basic communication has been amplified in a number of ways with text messages and video conference features just to name a few. Cellular phones have gone from being extremely large and capable of only making and receiving phone calls to ultimately being the entrepreneurial Swiss army knife. Being an individual that uses their smartphone for nearly everything, I can personally testify to the idea that having a smart phone is one of the best resources avaiable.
The cell phone is capable of so many applications now, from scanning documents, sending emails, video conferencing, text messaging, and internet access. I personally have been able to use my smartphone for gathering the necessary information about diet, training, and cardio for my own bodybuilding competition prep. I have also been able to use my iPhone to do important research for college assignments. There are just two examples of how modern day technology has assisted me in tremendous ways and how it can be of assistance to anyone.
There are many useful applications that anyone who possesses a smartphone has the ability to access for the sake of larger possibilities in business. Social media has completely booted the print industry with its ability to provide omnipresence to those wielding its power. Not only do social media apps exist on the internet but they are also available in mobile form, creating the possibility for users to be able to dominate in their space for the sake of personal business and notoriety. As a very business oriented person, I am able to maintain a schedule, send and receive important emails, and feed a huge and growing audience with content. Due to how instantly information and content can be provided, social media has rendered print media completely useless. People prefer instant access and that is what smart technology provides users.
Simply put, by not having a smartphone one is severely disadvantaged; the numerous uses for business and everyday life are too great to ignore. The world has moved on from print, rendering print advertisement useless. Even the bible, the most frequently purchased book in history is available as a completely free mobile application. The smartphone has allowed those in even the poorest of places to make life changing transactions and decisions. Arguably, the smartphone has proven to the most applicable and revolutionary tool in all of technology.
