Senior year, it's upon us. And it is sure to bring tons of new and strange feelings. From excitement to anxiety, the last few weeks of summer before senior year have my mind racing. Here's the top six things I've been constantly worrying/thinking/pondering about.

1. Wooo! Senior year is going to be so much fun! I'm so excited!

Between finally having hook ups for the best parties, and the awesome senior week, this year is sure to be one big party!

2. I hope the workload isn't too insane... It won't be that bad. Who am I kidding? It totally will be.

Junior year picked up and had everyone in tears by the end, maybe senior year won't be too bad. But, let's be real. It will probably be worse.

3. I can't wait to be back at school, living on my own again! No rules, no parents, just me and my roommate.

This is my third summer home. Of course, I've missed my family while I was at school. But... I'm ready to just lay in bed until class and watch Netflix constantly without the judgement. And, I'm ready to have my own curfew again.

4. How did I get this old? How did I get here? What is happening?

Might as well be a senior citizen, at this point. Wasn't I just in high school, like, yesterday? I'm almost an adult!

5. Ugh! I can't wait to be done and graduate already. College is so stressful, is it over yet?

Enough of the stress, enough of the gross dining hall food. I'm done! I'm ready to have a steady job, and just move on with my life. College is the worst, I'm so over it!

6. Wait, nope. I take it back. I am most definitely not ready to adult. I only have this one year left to still be a kid?!

Can I just be an adult without all of the responsibilities? Can I live on my own without paying bills? Will someone go to work for me? Mom, can you bring me some dinner? No? Okay, I guess I'll enjoy being a student, still.

Between this rollercoaster of emotions, senior year is sure going to be off to a weird start. But here's to us, Class of 2017! We're almost there! Let's make senior year the best one yet!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
