Halloween is one of the best holidays we have and that is largely due to the amazing costumes. Unfortunately for me, we were not frequent shoppers at Party City or pop-up Halloween stores as a kid. I am no stranger to the homemade costume (see below) and I know how hundreds of other kids around the country feel every year on Halloween.
1. You had to buy a million different parts to make it work
2. But your costume was mainly made up of trash
3. You always got great compliments from your teachers
4. It always fell apart halfway through the night
5. There was a good chance you sibling would or already had worn your costume
6. You always did look the best
In a classroom full of superheroes and princesses, you outdid them all.
