Watching animes is always a good time to be had, there are many different genres of anime and all of them can be amazing to watch. But for the sake of this list the focus is on the genre of Shoujo animes which while admittedly is a genre geared towards a more female audience, but there are some that are noticeably open to a larger audience. Ouran Highschool Host Club is a one season anime that focuses on character Haruhi Fujioka as she moves into a high-class school and gets forced into joining the high school's host club while dressed as a boy. Hilariously well done with jokes that will keep you laughing throughout the series.
2. Kimi ni Todoke
Kimi ni Todoke, is an anime that focuses on Kuronuma Sawako, a girl who is not very popular in school and is highly misunderstood as she looks a lot like the character from The Ring. Super and funny and easy to relate to with a misunderstood character.
3. Say "I Love You"
Say ‘I Love You’ is a cute romantic anime that focuses on character Mei Tachibana, as she goes through high school never drawing too much attention to herself. Funny content as well as a good view of a teenage relationship.
4. Cardcaptor Sakura
Cardcaptor Sakura, is a super cute anime that focuses on the character Sakura as she has to capture Clow Cards using other cards to seal them away before they cause too much trouble. Cute story with a great speculation on friendship rather than romance.
5. Shugo Chara!
Shugo Chara! Is a super cute anime with three seasons worth of entertainment, it focuses on the main character Hinamori Amu, who keeps to herself and gives off a very cool couldn’t careless personality. Without giving away too much Amu finds out she has the power to transform and with the help of other students in her school they fight off evil.
