My sister and I definitely have a love hate relationship and sometimes in the midst of our relationship, she often gets pushed aside and I often forget to thank her for the simple things that she does. This isn’t just for my sister, but for all of the younger sisters out there, I’m sure your older sisters have things they want to thank you for.
Thank you for always liking my pictures on social media
You never fail to be the first one to like or comment on my pictures. Thank you for boosting my self-confidence, making me feel popular, but most of all always being there to root for me whether it was at my concerts in High School or it is now through believing that
Thank you for letting me take a bite of your meal whenever we go out to eat
We both know I am the most indecisive person. Whenever we go out to eat, I am the one sitting there staring at the menu until everyone in our family has already ordered. When I’m with you, I don’t need to worry about choosing the right thing to order because I know if my food tastes bad, you will let me eat some of your food. Thank you for being so sacrificial.
Thank you for being funny
There is no one in this world who makes me laugh as much as you do. Your loud singing, your impersonations of Miranda Sings or any other Youtube vlogger, your weird dances. Thank you for bringing me so much life and joy.
Thank you for always wanting to hang out with me
Even though I roll my eyes when you come sit on my bed or ask you to leave, thank you for wanting to hang out with me even when I feel antisocial (which is most of the time). Thank you for wanting to spend time with me even though you have so much homework to do. Thank you for sharing your life with me.
Thank you for loving me
Growing up together, you have been the target of my frustration, anger, and all emotional breakdowns. Yet you bounce back from any scars I might have caused and continue to love me anyways. Even though I’m so imperfect and undeserving, you still love me and look up to me and that makes me feel so special. Thank you for loving me.
