She is the one person on this earth that will always tell me the truth, even if it is not what I want to hear.

My sister, Lindsey, has shown me so much in the past few years that I cannot thank her enough. She is the one person I know I can call at midnight and she will pick up within two rings.

She will sit there and calm me down when I am having a complete and utter mental breakdown and manage to say something that eventually sticks with me, and I will understand why I am feeling the way I am.

I want to thank her for her dedication as a wife, sister, and daughter to my family. I do not think I tell her enough how amazing she is as a person.

My sister is married to a U.S. Naval submariner, my brother-in-law is currently on a three month deployment, where he has limited access to communicate with my sister, which for her totally sucks, but that is the military life.

Now, my sister copes with it in her own way, but I am so glad that she has her own support system to lean on when she needs them. The strength my sister displays is something I can only hope to possess one day as a wife.

I cannot imagine calling anyone else to sit there and crab about my life to, and I know she knows she can always call me and do the same. We are there for one another and I am so lucky to have such an amazing role model of a sister to look up to.

It has sucked that she is 18 hours away from home, and we cannot just go out for a nice glass of wine together, however, I know that she is always a phone call away, and I can count on her no matter the time of day.

My sister is truly the one person I know I can be crazy, goofy self with, we are never afraid to have fun and shake it up a little bit. So, thank you, sissy, for always being my best friend, my support and overall the best sister I could ever ask for. I love ya!

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
